Sometimes on my website it looks like I only shoot women, but no. This year I even make a lot of portraits of men. So now a short blog with some men that I photographed this summer.
On the road for portraits
I went out with Shrini in Haarlem, the Vijfhoek district. A nice neighborhood without cars, many cozy streets and front gardens full of plants and flowers with a large park nearby. I took pictures with Paul in the Sarphatipark in Amsterdam South. A very nice park with nice old streets around it. At the time, the park was full of athletes, as the gyms were still closed. But between all the hustle and bustle we were able to take good photos. And for Marc I took pictures in the Soesterduinen. A truly unique place: suddenly sand dunes in the middle of the country! Very serene environment, very wide and there was even some purple heather.
How does a portrait shoot work?
We meet at a place that suits you. Together we walk around looking for nice backgrounds, benches or whatever. In the meantime I ask a lot of questions, talk about anything and everything. Everything so that you forget that you are going to have your picture taken.
Depending on whether it is for business or private use, I adjust the portrait accordingly. For both, I want you to really be yourself in the picture. But of course it has to fit your job, company or industry for business purposes.
Do you also want portrait photos that are really “you”?
Do you need portrait photos? For your LinkedIn, Instagram, Tinder or resume? All fine! I would like to think along with you about a suitable location, clothing, etc. Please contact me for more information or an appointment.
