In mid-April they gave two yoga classes in the basement of Roest. I was there to take pictures. A challenge in two ways: a nice, dark cellar and bright disco lights, but also photographing people who are doing yoga very concentrated. Is it possible in terms of light and is it not possible to irritate people? Yes, we did!
The light gave a nice, industrial feel to the photos. And the people were so focused that they generally didn’t notice me.
Yoga with a DJ, I thought it was a nice addition! It was laid back, relaxed and because of the music I believe you get a little more into it.
