Last year I was allowed to do a nice newborn shoot of mother and baby again. And what a sweetheart it was!
Natural newborn photos
Newborn shoots are extra fun to do. Normally people are often a bit uncomfortable in front of the camera, children do not want to and then the main challenge for me is to make it as fun as possible and to make that camera forget. This is not necessary for newborn shoots: the baby has not noticed anything yet and just does what he likes. The parents just have to look at the baby and they forget everything around them. I don’t have to say or do much to get a loving look on their face. Nice is not it?!
The baby is also in charge. Together we feel what he likes. You because you know the baby much better and I because I now know a little about what nice poses are. Feeding the baby one more time means a lot of rest afterwards. Put the baby on a large bed and we can take some close-ups and the baby can come to from all the attention.
I realize very well that the little we do during a shoot is already very tiring for your little baby. That is why I listen carefully to what he / she wants. That is why I prefer to do as few posed things as possible, but I photograph what you normally do. With some extra hugs and kisses for the photo of course! But this way you ensure that the photo shoot is also as natural as possible for the baby.
